Losing My Best Friend Script

Published by mickie31 at 8:33 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

I am starting to write my new play all ready that way it will be ready in time and give us chance to practise it. This time I felt we didn’t have enough notice or time to put on an excellent performance. Next time I intend for it to be different. I am starting to write a script now, ahead of time so that when the time comes it will be nicely polished. If we don’t get the chance to write another script on the course I am doing I will use this in some other way. The script is focussed around a group of friends one of them has a drug problem.

Kelly: I feel like I’ve lost my best friend.

Kim: Yeah I mean just cause that guy comes on the scene she forgets all about us.

Kelly: I remember the first day she started work in the hospital. I took her under my wing.

Kim: She would never have made it without you. You showed her a thing or two.

Kelly: I know, it’s not as though I expect anything from her, but a bit of respect would go a long way.

Kim: She sold us a sob story, hun what do you expect?

Kelly: Well… I didn’t expect her to react like she has done.

Kim: Isn’t it time we got ready?

Kelly: Yeah just let me finish my drink off.

Kim: What you wearing?

Kelly: I thought I’d wear a black pair of jeans and a short black top. I’m doing an Angelina Jolie look. Like really nice and sexy, but classy.

Kim: Nice! Who are you trying to impress? Mmm let me think? It wouldn’t be Mikey by any chance?

Kelly: He’s such a sweet guy. He’s so cute you could eat him.

(They both laugh)

(Scene ends and light’s fade)
(Scene two takes place in a night club. Light’s come back up and lot’s of people are dancing. There is music playing and people talking. There is a real buzz about the place. In the corner of the room a man and a woman kiss. The woman leaves to go to the toilet and bumps into a girl on the way)

Tiffany: Excuse me d’you know where the bogs are?

(The girl ignores her and carries on walking)
Tiffany: I said. Excuse me.

Erin: Straight down there on your right.

Tiffany: (Under her breath, but audible enough to be heard) Loser.
