Do You Want To Be Rich And Famous?
Don’t you sit and wonder at times how big well known stars get their break? How did they get famous in the first place and where did they get noticed? Maybe if we could find these answers then it would give us a clue how to get noticed too. I know a lot of it is to do with hard work and dedication. They stick with it through thick and thin and never give in. It is their passion, it is in their blood and they would do almost anything to get a break. However that doesn’t really help us because no matter how talented you are people get missed.
Some people never get any luck and are never in the right place at the right time, if indeed there is a right place.I’ve often asked myself how big celebrities get there and then I wonder if I will ever make it. Sure, I love doing what I am doing and as long as I am a working actress I am not really bothered if I make the limelight or not. Of course, in an ideal world I would be acting in front of millions of viewers, but then in an ideal world acting full time would be a dream come true. Even if nobody recognised me I’d be fulfilling that part of me that wants to act.Often actor’s get noticed because of the film that they are in. The film makes it big, gets nominated for Oscar’s and the actors and actresses in it get noticed. It is almost like a domino effect. One thing leads to another and that film they got a part in leads to many other job opportunities.
Some people make it just by being an extra in a film or television program although that is not a common occurrence. Some people work in the theatre and get noticed through their work in theatre. If an actor has starred in a film that has won Oscars or had fantastic reviews written about it the actors go on to get better roles in other films. Actor’s have to start off small by getting small roles and then as they get more famous they get bigger roles including main roles. Sometimes actor’s will get invited to be guest stars on television or they get invited to talk shows and take part in interviews. The press can be a good thing, but it can also be a bad thing. If the newspaper gives a bad report about an actor it can tarnish their reputation, but if the newspaper gives a good report then the actor will be recognised and their fame will spread via word of mouth.

One thing all celebrities have in common is that they take risks, work hard and give all that they have to their work. If being famous is more important to you than actually acting in parts that you enjoy and get great satisfaction then you may have to question your motives. It is not easy getting famous and the celebrity lifestyle isn’t easy either. Imagine getting followed around 24/7 and having no private life. The minute you become famous people want a piece of you. People feel they have a right to claim you and will go to all kind of lengths just to meet you. Fans are usually fine, but there are those people who get obsessed and stalk celebrities. This can be highly stressful and can make your job seem almost unbearable. You may find out that being famous was not all it was made out to be. However if acting is something you love and enjoy go for it.
Find a role you enjoy and if you get famous through it then it is a bonus. If not then you are still doing something that you love and get great satisfaction out of. It is not easy being a famous actor and you have to be emotionally stable and mentally tough so that you can take the stress and rejection that comes with being famous. Being an actress is also not as glamorous as it might seem to be. There will be jobs you have to do such as rolling in mud, bearing freezing cold temperatures dressed in your underwear and other such conditions. Don’t be fooled into thinking it is glamorous.
